NRIZ is the National Register of Pollution Sources β the national electronic database of emissions and the environmental impact of companies in Serbia. It is managed by the Environmental Protection Agency.
This help is for companies that have a reporting obligation in NRIZ. It explains how to work with the system and how to report in the portal.
What companies report
Annual reports describe how the company affects the environment. In the portal this is split across forms that match your reporting obligations.
- EmissionsPollutant releases to air, water, and soil β from measurements or calculated from fuel, equipment, and process data.
- WasteTypes, quantities, and handling of waste generated, stored, treated, or transferred.
- ResourcesEnergy, water, raw materials, and chemicals that feed the process and the resulting emissions.
- Facilities and processesWhere the activity happens: facilities, landfills, equipment, and pollution sources.
Who must report
Not every company reports in NRIZ β only operators whose activities can affect the environment. Typical examples are industry, waste management, concrete and asphalt plants, or boilers above 1 MW. In the portal you only create forms that match an obligation assigned to your company.
If you are new to NRIZ, start with Getting started. If something does not work as expected, check the FAQ before contacting support.
